We Have Our Astronaut!

In what has
surely been a long time coming, Space Camp now has an
astronaut to truly call its own!
Dottie Metcalf-Lindenburger who is one of the new batch of astronauts also attended Space Camp!
To be more specific, I believe she attended Space Academy for Educators in 1990...the details have been a little unclear.
Regardless, it's nice to finally have one! While it may have taken twenty-two years for it to happen, such a thing certainly was inevitable!

I do believe it's the oldest thing I've ever seen from Space Camp! Be sure to savor every page!
And this one's a special one. It has Christa McAuliffe at Space Camp as well as an article announcing the Space Camp movie. Those were surely much more innocent times.
