In conjunction with the Marshall Space Flight Center, the U.S. Space & Rocket Center will host the “Space Shuttle ‘Rocketed’ our World” event this Saturday, August 20, 2011.
The event will run from 6pm to 10pm and a mere five bucks will buy you a drink, chips, and a hot dog, as well as provide access to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center for the evening. In addition to the Center’s normal offerings, live music and other entertainment will be available.

Also don’t forget the Salute to the Shuttle Program will be held the following Friday. NASA Administrator and former astronaut Charles Bolden will be in attendance!
