War Slows Camp Reservations

An article published in the Huntsville Times notes the current status of bookings at Space Camp and how they are down for the year due to the current conflict in Iraq (the article was published at a time when war seemed imminent, but had not yet begun).

Reservations for June and July camps are down by about 1,400 from where U.S. Space & Rocket Center CEO Larry Capps would like them to be.

However, the article does note that while reservations are down, revenue is still up since they haven’t discounted the price of the programs as they did last year.
